By accessing or using URDB ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

URDB is a product integrity database that tracks changes in consumer product quality over time, including material changes, feature removals, warranty modifications, and other product evolution data. The Service is provided for informational purposes.

3. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit product suggestions, comments, and reviews through the Service. By submitting content, you:

  • Confirm that your submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Grant URDB a non-exclusive license to display and use your content on the platform
  • Agree not to submit content that is defamatory, misleading, or violates any law

All user-submitted content is subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false or misleading product information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Scrape or bulk-download data without permission
  • Use automated tools to submit content or interact with the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The URDB name, logo, and original content (including scoring methodologies and editorial content) are the property of URDB. Product names, brand names, and trademarks mentioned on the Service belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer

Product data on URDB is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy through evidence-based documentation, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of any information. URDB is not a substitute for professional product testing or advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

URDB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any information provided.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
